1.
Sky Walk (The walk of a life time) |
|
Allows a vision of the forest from a
different perspective. It combines trails through the forest
under story with suspension bridges that also let you explore the unknown world of the cloud forest canopy. It allows different observational levels to admire the flora and fauna starting at the forest ground and ending at the tree tops.
The Sky Walk consist of seven suspension bridges.
The highest being 46 meters (150 ft) and the longest being 300 meters (984 ft).

2.
Sky Trek (The zip generation) |
|
FLY THROUGH THE AIR WITH THE GREATEST OF EASE.
Is a network of
under story trails and platforms reaching high above the ground in the midst of the tree boughs.
Zip-lines attached from one platform to another allow you to slide through the forest canopy with the use of special equipment. Two suspension bridges along the trails gives you a great view of the forest, and an observation tower above the canopy offers a panoramic view of the Guanacaste, Puntarenas and San Carlos lowlands.
The tour includes 13th different cables through and above the canopy, divided in five different sets. as the tour progresses the speed and
length are increased from 30 meters (100ft) long and 22 meters (72ft) high, in the first set; to 700 meters (2310ft) long and 170 meters (561ft) high in the last set of cables. Visit

The Butterfly Garden |

The Monteverde Butterfly Garden offers 4 habitat gardens with an exhibition of 40 species of local butterflies.
Also a nature center with live insects, a Medicinal Plant Trail, a Leaf Cutters Ant nest and a Gift Shop. |

7.
The Ecological Farm |
|
4 loop trails. Pre-mountain forest, secondary forest, waterfalls, lookout points, coffee and banana plantations. Receives less rain and is less cloudy than the Reserve so vegetation is less dense.
A good place to see the 3-wattled bell bird, coatis and sloth. Ask at the information booth where a sloth can be seen and have them make it on your map.

The Orquids Garden (Investigation Project) |

Be about to witness the amazing diversity of orchids found in Monteverde. You will find the miniature orchids of the
sub-tribe Pleurothallidinae whose flowers are often less than 5 mm in diameter.
You will see the perfection in the tiny flowers and gain insight into the amazing diversity of plants in the tropical forest canopy.
The garden contains more than 400 species. Large ones as the national flower (Guaria Morada), and the smallest known orchid specie in the world,
(platy-stele jungermannioides).

Horse
Back Riding |

We offer many horse back riding tours around the area, as sunset tours, tours to waterfalls,
thought coffee and banana plantations, wildlife tours, etc.
You don't need previous experience, since all the horses are so gentle. The guides will have you riding as an expert in no time.
